| A
complete list and index of Hymns and Psalms is available on the Family
Friendly Churches Trust web site - this includes midi music versions which each
include the introduction and the correct number of verses - a possible solution
if you're short of an organist! |

HymnQuest is
available from Stainer & Bell on CDROM and is highly recommended - it
contains tens of thousands of hymns (words and recommendations on
tunes), many of them modern and some unpublished elsewhere. It needs
to be used in conjunction with a church copyright licence. |
| Another source of hymn words and tunes is
Oremus, which is described
as 'Daily prayer and prayer resources on the Internet' but includes a very
useful selection of hymns for each Sunday, arranged according to the lectionary. |
| Midiforworship: a site with MIDI tracks for many hymns, including modern
ones. Can be searched by first line, metre and tune. |
| Hymns.uk.com
contains both new and older material, helpfully arranged into sections for
special occasions and the Christian year. It is operated by Stainer & Bell and
includes hymns by modern writers such as Fred Pratt Green. |
| CyberHymnal: thousands of tunes - lyrics, MIDI files,
illustrations (warning - it gets addictive!). Nearly all are out of copyright,
so little modern stuff. |

£1.70) |
